Laying the foundations
Founded as Conversio Austria
Conversio Austria is founded by the then 23-year-old Johannes Hofer with the vision of helping people become more independent through renewable energy. Specialising in renewable energy systems, the company focuses from the outset on the design, planning and implementation of energy solutions for the future.
Conversio Energie is established
Founding of Conversio Energie
The founding of Conversio Energie brings the design and planning of renewable energy systems together in a dedicated company. This creates the basis for further specialisation and the targeted expansion of the energy business.
Conversio Austria becomes the Conversio Group
New companies in Liechtenstein, Germany and Croatia
The transition from Conversio Austria to the Conversio Group realigns the corporate structure and establishes the basis for further international development. At the same time, Conversio Energie expands into Liechtenstein, Germany and Croatia with its own companies, extending its presence beyond Austria.
Rethinking energy together
Founding of the CONVERSIUM BEG citizens’ energy community
The Austria-wide CONVERSIUM BEG citizens’ energy community creates new opportunities to share renewable energy. Members can obtain and share regionally generated electricity within the community, becoming active participants in the energy transition.
Conversio Energie expands further in Europe
New companies in Switzerland, Italy and Slovakia
With three new companies in Switzerland, Italy and Slovakia, Conversio Energie continues its European growth. They expand the international network and create the basis for offering innovative energy solutions in further European markets. An Austrian vision is gradually developing into a Europe-wide energy network.
