Electricity needs vary by property and use. That is why we develop tailored solutions, analysing your actual consumption, available space and goals on site.

For private households

A photovoltaic system for a detached house supplies enough solar electricity to cover a large share of annual demand. Combined with battery storage, the self-consumption rate can rise to as much as 80 percent.

For commerce and industry

Higher consumption means greater potential savings. Commercial PV systems often pay for themselves faster than residential ones because the generated electricity is used directly in business processes, replacing expensive grid electricity.

For agriculture

Farms benefit particularly from large roof areas and comparatively high daytime consumption. We plan conventional rooftop installations as well as agrivoltaic systems that combine agricultural land use with electricity generation.

Consultation and site analysis

We assess roof orientation, tilt, shading and your current consumption. The result is a specific system proposal with a yield calculation and financial forecast.

Planning and permits

We handle the technical planning, clarify the grid connection and notification requirements with the relevant grid operator, and coordinate the necessary administrative steps.

Installation

Our installation teams work throughout Austria. For a typical home with a system of up to 10 kWp, installation usually takes two to three days.

Commissioning and acceptance

After installation, a licensed electrician checks the entire system and prepares the required inspection report. We coordinate the registration process with the grid operator for you.

Monitoring

Various monitoring platforms let you keep track of your system at all times. Yield, system status and individual components can be viewed in real time. We detect deviations early and can respond remotely.

Photovoltaics with battery storage

A PV system generates the most electricity when it is needed least: during the day, when most households and businesses use less electricity than in the evening. Battery storage shifts this surplus to the evening and night.

Appropriately sized storage can significantly increase the share of self-generated electricity used on site. Some system configurations also offer a backup power function that takes over automatically during grid outages.

Conversio plans the storage and photovoltaic system together so that capacities and inverter technology are coordinated. If you start without storage, it can be added later, provided the system has been prepared accordingly.

As a member of the Conversium BEG energy community, you can trade surplus solar electricity that is neither used on site nor stored within the community at transparent, stable tariffs.

Photovoltaic subsidies in Austria

In 2026, direct investment grants are again available nationwide for new and expanded PV systems under the Renewable Energy Expansion Act (EAG). Almost all federal states also offer their own funding programmes, with conditions and grant rates that vary by region.

What happens to surplus electricity?

Electricity that is neither used on site nor kept in storage can be fed into the public grid and paid for through a feed-in tariff. Alternatively, it can be traded within an energy community.
